Eighth grade engineers collaborate
Noble eighth grade students worked together to construct a complex structure. The model took shape as teams of boys and girls built their pieces, then added them to the project. Slowly but surely, a ferris wheel took shape.
Amusement park physics is just one of the specialties of Yul Allen, the founder of STEM Genius. Each week, he works with Noble sixth and eighth graders to use math, science and problem-solving skills to design, build and test their models. Through exciting, hands-on activities, he hopes to inspire students to envision STEM careers in their future.
