Students Honored at Red Carpet Celebration
Nearly 175 students in grades K-8 were honored on Thursday at our quarterly Red Carpet Luncheon. Amid festive tablecloths and bright balloons, our young celebrities feasted on chili dogs and french fries washed down with fizzy root beer floats. Students earned an invitation by meeting their growth projections in reading and/or math on the NWEA MAP test. This assessment is administered fall, winter and spring. It allows students to set a goal for growth, then strive to achieve it. Those who do are treated like celebrities at the special luncheon.
